Expert consultation and support

Stop Second-Guessing Your EMDR Sessions.

EMDR Consultation for Certification (CIT) | Virtual Nationwide

I offer EMDR consultation for therapists working toward EMDRIA certification, including individual and group consultation hours. As a Consultant in Training (CIT), I provide supportive, collaborative consultation to help you build confidence, strengthen your EMDR skills, and complete your certification requirements. Consultation is available virtually for EMDR therapists across the United States.

Does this resonate?

You've done the training. You're working with clients. And yet you still find yourself wondering -

  • What target should I choose?

  • Did I just make that worse?

  • When do I use an interweave and am I doing it right?

  • Should I have stayed with that or redirected sooner?

  • Is this dissociation or just avoidance?

Self-doubt in session is common but staying stuck in it doesn't have to be.

I help EMDR therapists build the kind of confidence that shows up in the room, through honest, case-focused consultation that sharpens your skills and strengthens your trust in the process.

EMDR consultation is a good fit for you if you…

  • Completed your EMDR basic training and are actively using it with clients

  • Feel stuck on a specific case and aren't sure where the protocol broke down

  • Have a case that keeps you up at night and need a second set of clinical eyes

  • You take your EMDR work seriously and want to keep getting better at it

  • You want a consultant who will meet you where you are and push you forward without judgment

  • You want individual attention on your specific cases, not a one-size-fits-all approach

  • You're ready to invest in your clinical growth

1:1 Consultation

Some cases need more than you can work out on your own - and that’s okay! In a 1:1 session we dig into the specifics, targeting, stuck points, protocol questions, whatever is keeping you from moving forward. Direct feedback without judgment.

Meet Lisa, EMDR Certified, Consultant-In-Training

Hello!

Hi, I’m Lisa! I care deeply about creating spaces where therapists feel safe enough to show up honestly, wherever they are in their EMDR journey. New to the protocol or working toward consultation yourself, you deserve a community that meets you without judgment and grows with you.

I’ve been where you are and have done the EMDR certification journey myself. There was a moment early in my EMDR work - a case that stopped me in my tracks - where I knew I needed more support than I had access to.

I completed my basic training in 2019 right before COVID, and suddenly I was adapting everything to virtual EMDR with little guidance and even less community. What I needed was a consultant who made me feel safe enough to say I don't know what I'm doing here and I didn't always find that.

That experience is exactly why I do this work.

I'm Lisa, an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant in Training with over six years of EMDR experience. I specialize in complex and developmental trauma, attachment and relational wounds, and helping the high-functioning overthinkers - the perfectionists, the people-pleasers, the anxious achievers - actually move through the EMDR process.

My consultation style is collaborative and direct. You are the expert on your client and I'm here to think alongside you, not tell you what to do. I'll push you when you need it and back you up when you're closer to the answer than you think. And I will do my darn-dest to ensure you never feel judged for where you are in your practice.
